"...Some friends and I recently visited the Merlion Restaurant and we loved it.  We had only appetizers  but they were outstanding!   We plan to eat a meal there next time we visit.  The bartender ( Mr. K ) is excellent at making martinis and other cocktails.  We also met the owners who are very friendly and gracious.  Needless to say, we were very happy with the whole experience.  I hope you get a chance to try this place, it's worth it ! "Brought a few business colleague to Merlion today for lunch (not my first time).  It went exceptionally well... thank you!! Recommendations:  banana flower and striped bass were/are my favorites.  Atmosphere is perfect for work days.  I will repeat (again).  
Being one of my new favorite spots, I feel compelled to also comment on service.  We experienced prompt and courteous service from moment we walk through front doors... our waitress was attentative and was very deserving of the tip... absolutely no complaints..."
